A Glasgow site manager has raised £4000 for Cancer Research after completing a gruelling trek through the Himalayas.
Fergus O’Boyle, who works for Bellway’s Howford Park development in Glasgow, took on the challenge alongside his sister Lorraine and five colleagues from Newcastle.
The team set off from Delhi for five days of trekking through the forest.

Speaking about the challenge, Fergus said: "I love camping and hiking and it really was a dream trip for me, although my sister hadn’t tackled any walks previously.
"Each day our treks reached 3000m high in spectacular scenery and it really was like stepping back in time when we came across remote villages.
"The trip was well organised and I’d love to do it again.
"I’m extremely grateful to everyone who sponsored me and all the money raised will go specifically to the Bowelbabe Fund."
