Man rushed to hospital after disturbance in Bridge of Weir

A man was rushed to hospital following an early morning ‘disturbance’ on a quiet street.

Emergency services responded to the Church Road area of Bridge of Weir after the alarm was raised at around 3.35am on Sunday.

Police say they received reports of a disturbance.

A man was then taken to hospital for treatment.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.35am on Sunday, May 10, 2026, officers received a report of a disturbance in the Church Road area of Bridge of Weir.

 "A man was taken to hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing.”
