Residents across Glasgow are being warned that GP surgeries are set to temporarily close next week.
NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHSGGC) announced that healthcare practises in and around the city will be shut on Monday, May 25.
This is due to the Spring Bank Holiday.
Anyone who needs urgent care that can’t be treated at home and can’t wait until the GPs reopen is asked to contact the GP out-of-hours service.
This is for urgent but not life-threatening problems. In the event of a medical emergency, people should dial 999.

Dr Isabelle Cullen, clinical director for the GP out of hours service, commented: “The most important thing to remember is to call NHS 24 on 111.
“When you call, a trained healthcare professional will listen to your symptoms and help you get the right care in the right place.
“That might be advice over the phone, a call back from a clinician, or an appointment if you need to be seen.
“This helps make sure everyone gets the care they need as quickly as possible. By thinking right care, right place, you’re helping us take care of you – and others too.”
