Roy Keane has hailed Martin O'Neill's leadership after Celtic's title win.

The club edged out Hearts by winning their final seven league matches.

On the Stick To Football podcast, Keane said: "Credit to Celtic. Hearts were brilliant, but Celtic hung in there."

He praised O'Neill's leadership, stating: "He showed why he's a top manager."

He also commended O'Neill for managing the club effectively amidst off-field issues. "There was a lot going on off the field with the fans and the board, but he got everyone on side.

"That's his strength, bringing people together."

Keane also highlighted the team's resilience, saying: "The top players found a way to win. It wasn't pretty, but winning the last seven games, you've got to give them credit."

Former Celtic striker Ian Wright shared similar sentiments, saying: "If Martin doesn't go in there, they don't win that league."

Celtic won the league by two points over Hearts, defeating Derek McInnes' side on the final day of the 2025/26 season.
