An East Kilbride man who dangerously drove an Audi while already banned from the roads smashed into a number of parked vehicles.
Andrew Rodden appeared in the dock at Paisley Sheriff Court from custody after he rammed a grey Audi A1 into a “number of parked vehicles” on Eaglesham’s Moor Road and Polnoon Street around 8.45pm on Friday, May 15.
The 29-year-old, who was behind the wheel of the car as a disqualified driver, admitted he drove “dangerously.”
Rodden drove the Audi at “excessive speeds” for the road and road conditions, lost control of the vehicle and collided with a number of parked vehicles, causing them “extensive damage.”
Rodden, of North Berwick in East Kilbride, also admitted to causing “fear or alarm” on the same date at Whitelee visitor centre and on Pulnoon Street.
The thug shouted and swore towards a female before “repeatedly” kicking her car - the grey Audi A1, causing damage to it.

Rodden committed these offences while subject to a bail order granted in August last year at Livingston Sheriff Court.
Court papers alleged Rodden intended to “pervert the course of justice” by telling police officers that the woman he caused “fear or alarm” was in fact the driver of the car during the collision.
It was further alleged Rodden had no insurance policy to drive the car and that he “repeatedly kicked” the Audi’s wing mirrors.
His not guilty pleas to these charges were accepted by the Crown.
Sheriff Andrew Berry deferred sentence for the preparation of background reports.
Rodden will return to court for sentencing on June 18.
