Six streets in Glasgow's Pollokshields face disruption due to filming

The measures are being brought in to facilitate filming and to ensure the safety of both road users and pedestrians in the area.

Parking bans will be in effect from June 7 to June 11, with additional restrictions on some streets between June 8 and June 11.

All vehicles will be affected, except emergency service vehicles responding to an incident and any vehicles permitted by Glasgow City Council’s events team.

It is currently unknown what production is being filmed.

Prohibition of waiting, loading and unloading
From 08:00hrs on June 7, 2026 until 22:00hrs on June 11, 2026

• Maxwell Terrace, north side, between property numbers 9 and 16
• St Johns Road, west side, between Maxwell Terrace and St Johns Road
• Maxwell Avenue, north side, between St Johns Road and St Johns Quadrant
• St Johns Quadrant between Maxwell Avenue and Maxwell Oval
• Maxwell Oval for its full length

Prohibition of vehicle movements by traffic management stop/go (2 mins max wait)
From 07:00hrs on June 7, 2026 until 19:00hrs on June 7, 2026
From 16:00hrs on June 10, 2026 until 22:00hrs on June 10, 2026

• Maxwell Oval between property numbers 2 and 7

Prohibition of waiting, loading and unloading
From 15:00hrs on June 8, 2026 until 22:00hrs on June 11, 2026

• Maxwell Terrace between St Johns Road and Shields Road

Prohibition of vehicle movements by traffic management stop/go (2 mins max wait)
From 09:30hrs on June 9, 2026 until 11:30hrs on June 9, 2026

• Maxwell Terrace between St Johns Road and Shields Road

Separate mystery filming is also currently causing closures and significant restrictions on more than 60 streets around Glasgow Royal Infirmary until June 26.
