Phil Campbell, ScotRail customer operations director, said: "We're looking forward to helping fans travel to and from Edinburgh for what will be a brilliant night at Scottish Gas Murrayfield.
"We’re adding more carriages to trains on key routes in and out of the capital throughout the day to help people travel to and from the event.
"Customers are asked to plan ahead, ensure they have their train tickets before they get on the train, and allow more time for their journey."
Edinburgh’s Haymarket station is the closest rail stop to Murrayfield and is within walking distance or a short tram ride from the stadium.
ScotRail is advising concertgoers to travel to and from the venue via Haymarket.
The train operator is urging passengers to buy their tickets before boarding trains, with tickets available through the ScotRail app, website, ticket offices, and self-service machines.
Following the concert, fans returning to Haymarket are advised to make their way to the station as soon as they can.
Queuing systems will be in place to manage crowds and ensure safe boarding.
ScotRail will also deploy additional staff throughout the day to offer assistance and keep travellers informed.
Customers are asked to join the queue on Haymarket Terrace, where they will be directed to the correct platform.
Campbell said: "Haymarket is the closest station to Murrayfield and it’s a short walk or tram ride from the stadium.
"Queuing systems will be in place after the concert to help everyone get home safely."
