A Glasgow-bound flight declared a mid-air emergency this afternoon.
Jet2 flight LS178 departed Alicante Airport shortly after 1.40pm local time and was due to arrive at Glasgow Airport around 3.40pm local time.

Jet2 revealed that alarm was raised after a customer required medical attention. They did not provide any further details.
A spokesperson for the airline went on to say that the crew followed procedure and requested a priority landing.
Glasgow Airport confirmed that the flight landed safety and the plane was met with health and safety crews.
The person's condition is unknown.
