A new shopping experience is coming to Silverburn Shopping Centre after proving to be a success in Edinburgh.

Bloom Box by Penelope Fleur , will launch in Glasgow later this month, offering handcrafted bouquets seven days a week from a vending machine.

It follows the successful debut of its flagship site at St James Quarter in Edinburgh earlier this year.

Creator Kayleigh McAllister said: "Bloom Box was created to make beautiful flowers more accessible.

"We know life doesn't always fit within traditional shop opening hours, and people often need flowers at a moment's notice.

"Our mission is to combine convenience with luxury floristry without compromising on quality."

Each Bloom Box is stocked daily with fresh, seasonal bouquets designed and assembled the team at Penelope Fleur.

Diarmuid Donohoe, general manager of Silverburn, said: "Bloom Box is a brilliant fit for Silverburn and we're excited to bring this innovative concept to our guests.

"Now visitors can grab a beautiful bouquet as easily as picking up a coffee, ideal for last-minute occasions or just because.

"It's another dynamic, fun addition to our line-up, and reflects why Silverburn continues to be Scotland's leading destination for retail and leisure."

Designed for convenience without compromising on quality, Ms McAllister believes the Bloom Box concept will resonate with busy shoppers and commuters alike.

She said: "The response to our Edinburgh launch exceeded every expectation, and we're incredibly excited to bring Bloom Box to Glasgow.

"Silverburn is the perfect location, attracting millions of visitors each year, and we're proud to continue growing a Scottish business that is changing the way people buy flowers."

The Glasgow launch is only one part of a larger expansion planned for the business, which aims to install more Bloom Boxes in shopping centres, transport hubs, and airports across the UK.
