Former Rangers striker Kris Boyd believes the club could struggle without Youssef Chermiti.
The 22-year-old forward was ruled out for a long period after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury during Rangers' defeat to Hibs.
He was stretchered off after colliding with advertising boards. Boyd, impressed by Chermiti's importance to Derek McInnes' side, said: "Chermiti is a key player for Rangers, who I think is fantastic, and they could struggle without him. [LiveFootballTickets]
"When Youssef Chermiti came off at the weekend, he was in real pain.
"Anybody that's involved in football would wish him a speedy recovery from the injury that he picked up at the weekend."

Rangers have confirmed Chermiti will be out for a "significant period of time", leaving McInnes to consider signing another striker before the transfer window closes.
The injury is a major setback for Rangers, who said Chermiti was central to their plans for the season after rejecting a substantial bid from Galatasaray before the Hibs match.
Boyd added: "First and foremost, yes, Rangers have got a talented player there, but health is the most important thing, and we wish him all the best in recovery."
The former Rangers striker also said McInnes' side must quickly find a way to turn performances into results, following a winless three-game start to the manager's Ibrox reign.
He said: "At Rangers, you are under pressure to get results every single week, so they're going to have to find a way.
"It's not going to be easy."
