Chris Sutton watched Haissem Hassan impress at the World Cup – and he reckons his numbers will 'rocket' after signing for Celtic.
The Egyptian winger joined the Scottish Premiership champions from Real Oviedo earlier in the week.
Hassan caught the eye in North America, recording an assist against Argentina in the last-16 as Egypt were eliminated via a gut-wrenching stoppage-time goal.
Sutton watched Celtic's new signing while on punditry duty and has high hopes.
He said (RecordSport): "It’s funny, I was at Egypt’s knockout win against Australia and I do remember being impressed by him when he came off the bench and made a difference.
"We all know about his performance against Argentina but the task for him is now to produce it on a regular basis.

"Some people have battered Hassan for his stats when it comes to goals and assists but it’s a bit unfair when he’s been playing with a team struggling at the bottom of La Liga.
"He’ll get more attacking opportunities with Celtic and with someone like [Kasper] Hogh in the box, you would expect those numbers to rocket."
Hassan could make his Celtic debut tonight against Dundee United in the Premier Sports Cup.
