A MAN has appeared in court charged with an alleged murder bid in Clydebank.
Peter McCourt made no plea at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday.
The 62-year-old, from Clydebank, is accused of assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement and danger of life as well as the attempted murder charge.
He was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
His next appearance will be over the next week.
It comes after a 38-year-old man was found with serious injuries on Alexander Street on Monday, May 8.
