Anton Du Beke supported after sharing troubled childhood

After ITV's Good Morning Britain (GMB) shared a promo clip of the show in which Du Beke recalled how he spent time in hospital, thousand shared words of support.

As one viewer wrote: "Think I'll laugh and cry at the same time! Looking forward to it though. You're a special man."

Another added: "I'm heartbroken that Anton Du Beke went through this. There are many who carry horrors of abuse in their life, from the past, or even which they live currently.

"The thing about abuse is, at the time you accept it, often as you feel you have no other choice you're older it comes back at you and can haunt your life, in flashbacks, nightmares, trust issues, anxiety and depression."

Ahead of the new series, Garraway shared a promo for the upcoming episode on their individual Instagram pages, as Garraway wrote: "So excited and proud to bring you our next three #lifestories guests, two of whom I have known for along time, and one I’ve admired from afar - I’ll leave you to guess which is which!

"I was blown away by their bravery in opening up about the extraordinary challenges in their lives and how they’ve overcome them and I hope they are proud too. I know you are going to be glued, moved, shocked and inspired."

You can watch Kate Garraway's Life Stories on ITV1 at 9pm.
