A savvy shopper has gone viral after revealing how a quick browse in a charity shop led to a designer bargain worth more than £300.

Holly Wood spotted a dress by Ted Baker while looking through the rails - and picked it up for just £9.

But it wasn’t until she checked online later that she realised just how valuable the find was.

The same style - the Ted Baker Telily Printed Lace Midi Dress - is currently listed on resale sites for around $438 (roughly £324), making her purchase an eye-catching steal.

Holly, 39, regularly shares her second-hand finds with more than 33,000 followers on TikTok, where her latest video has already drawn thousands of views.

“I can’t believe I found this dress and it doesn’t look like it’s ever been worn,” she said.

“And when I Googled it, it’s still selling for around £400.”

In the clip, Holly shows off the detailed design, describing the dress as heavy, fully lined and decorated with embroidered floral patterns.

She said she was immediately drawn to its baby blue, black and red colour combination - and was thrilled when it fit perfectly.
