Celebrity Traitors is back for a second series on the BBC with a whole new cast, including Richard E. Grant.
The actor is joining 20 other celebrities for a chance to win a cash prize of up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.
Here is everything to know about Richard E. Grant as he prepares to enter the iconic Ardross Castle.
Who is Richard E. Grant?
Born Richard Grant Esterhuysen on May 5, 1957, in Mbabane, Protectorate of Swaziland (now Eswatini), Grant moved to Britain in 1982, a year after his father's death.
At that time, he adopted his stage name (truncating his Afrikaans surname to a single letter) and registered with Equity.
His breakthrough role came in 1987 as the title character in Withnail and I alongside Paul McGann.
Grant soon found success in Hollywood, appearing in films such as L.A. Story, Gosford Park, Spice World, Bram Stoker's Dracula, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Further appearances came in films such as The Iron Lady, Can You Ever Forgive Me?, Jackie, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Saltburn, The Thursday Murder Club and Nuremberg.
Grant has also received Academy Award, BAFTA, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor.
What has Richard E. Grant said about being on Celebrity Traitors?
When asked why he wanted to take part in Celebrity Traitors, Grant shared: "Because I think it's a most brilliant game, where even Stephen Fry's encyclopaedic knowledge of Sherlock Holmes couldn't solve the mystery.
"You can't have any clue.
"The Traitors are decided by a team of people and Claudia Winkleman, so there's nothing to go on.
"Pack mentality prevails, where suspicion turns into accusation."
When asked if he would like to be a Traitor, Grant said he would "absolutely" want the role.
He said: "You have no control in real life over anything.
"Any chance for that would be welcome.
"And a little bit of mischief is always welcome."
