TWO companies in North Glasgow have teamed up to support a local charity helping families.
Springburn Co-op Funeralcare and the Co-op Food on Wallacewell Road are encouraging kindhearted locals to donate to No. One Baby & Family Support Service.
The charity supports people in hardship and working poverty, by supplying much-needed everyday essentials and household goods, including clothing, footwear and baby essentials.
Colleagues working in the Greater Glasgow & Clyde area recently paid the charity a visit to learn more about their work, and the type of support they would require from the local community.

Now, in an effort to help, the shops are now accepting donations at 34 Springburn Way, from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm.
They are also asking people to donate money to the organisation.
Heather McFarlane, Funeral Arranger for Co-op Funeralcare in the Greater Glasgow & Clyde area, said: “We are constantly trying to identify those causes that make a real difference to the members of our local community, and No. One Baby & Family Support Service definitely stood out as a cause we all aligned with.
"It was a great experience getting to meet them in person and discuss more about their activities, and the type of support individuals turning to them are after.
"This has been an eye-opening experience that has taught us a lot about how we can mobilise the community to make a huge impact by donating much-needed essential items such as clothes, baby products, toys, or even electrical home equipment that is fully functional but that you might no longer need.”
