A popular airline is celebrating ten years of flights from Glasgow to Rome this month.

Jet2 first offered customers the chance to fly with them on March 29, 2012 and have since seen thousands of people make the journey to the Italian capital.

Currently, the airline provides a twice-weekly service on the route with flights only or holiday package deals.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “We are delighted to be celebrating ten years of operating flights and city breaks to Rome from Glasgow Airport today.
