Man due in court following report of person with 'air weapon' in city centre
A MAN is due to appear in court following a report of a man in possession of an air weapon.
Cops were called to St Enoch Square around 5.45pm yesterday afternoon and it is understood an air weapon was recovered from the scene.
A 33-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
Chief Inspector Ross Kelly said: "Around 5.45pm on Monday, April 18, police received a report of a man in possession of an air weapon in St Enoch Square, Glasgow.
"Officers attended and a 33-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
"He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, April 19."
