FIRE crews raced to a North Glasgow park following reports of a grass fire.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were made aware of the blaze at Springburn Park at around 8.50pm last night.
One fire engine was sent to the scene and firefighters extinguished the flames.
SFRS did not say how much damage was caused by the blaze or what caused it.
An SFRS spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 8.49pm on Tuesday, April 19 to reports of a grass fire in the Springburn area of Glasgow.
"Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the scene at Springburn Park, where firefighters extinguished the fire.
"Crews left the scene after working to make the area safe."
