The cast of the smash-hit musical Jersey Boys toured the city in style this afternoon as their run of show's at the King's Theatre gets well underway.
Cast members Blair Gibson (Bob Gaudio) Michael Pickering (Frankie Valli) Dalton Wood (Tommy DeVito) and Lewis Griffiths (Nick Massi) hopped onto a double-decker sightseeing bus to familiarise themselves with the city where they will be performing until May 7.
The toe-tapping musical tells the story of legendary Jersey singers The Four Seasons as they rise to fame and face plenty of tension between band members behind the scenes.
Organisers say: "They were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note.
"They had a sound nobody had ever heard … and the radio just couldn’t get enough of.
"But while their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage it was a very different story - a story that has made them an international sensation all over again."
Featuring the band's greatest hits such as Sherry, Walk Like a Man and Big Girls Don't Cry, the show has won an impressive four Tony Awards and is sure to be a night to remember.
