A BUS service in Glasgow's Southside has been diverted until further notice after "continuous vandalism incidents", said a bus operator.

SPT published a notice warning passengers of disruption to the 135 Glasgow Silverburn service after acts of vandalism on Brockburn Road, in Pollok.

The company apologised as it was forced to divert the bus, run by Glasgow Citybus, each evening from 8pm on Friday April 22 until further notice.

The bus will not serve Brockburn Road in either direction.

The notice read: "Disruption due to continuous vandalism incidents within Brockburn Road Pollok, this service will be diverted from 8pm on Friday, April 22, 2022 and each evening until further notice.

"Intending passengers please note service 153 will not operate via Brockburn Road, Pollok in either direction.

"SPT & Glasgow Citybus regret any inconvenience."

The nature of the vandalism acts is still unclear.
