A Glasgow-born Real Housewives of Jersey star revealed she could go back to the TV show after quitting earlier this year.

Tessa Hartmann was one of seven glamorous housewives showcasing their lifestyle in the programme, set on the Channel Island of Jersey.

In March, Hartmann had announced she was abandoning the show due to co-stars expressing opinions against the Covid vaccine, making her feel “uncomfortable”.

However, speaking to the Be Honest podcast with Jojo Sutherland and Bruce Devlin, the businesswoman said she would "love" to keep filming the show and confirmed her reasons for leaving.

She said: "I don't really care what other people are saying, because for me, it's reality TV.

“Let's take a pinch of salt, it is supposed to be entertainment. It's supposed to be drama and glamour and all of that.

"Where I look at it is, if the fun is stripped out of it, and I'm personally not enjoying doing it, then it's not worth doing it, and I think that's a shame because I love the concept.

“I love the idea of it. I would love to do a third series, I would love to carry on filming your housewives, I think it's a great opportunity.

"But I couldn't carry on the way it is at the moment. And that's simply a cast issue, because I think they've all done themselves a disservice."

Although she admitted the show might encourage stereotypes about women, she said she hoped it would continue. She added: "I think it was brilliant for Jersey and I hope it continues for them. Because I think it's great for the island. You can't buy it.

"And so from that perspective, I think it is a great shame. Whether they'll shake it up or not, I don't know.

“Whether it will get a third series, I don't know. We'll just have to wait and see. But you know what I'm hustling on other things."
