RICHARD Madeley was spotted in Glasgow this morning - after "going missing" from Good Morning Britain.

The one half of Richard and Judy wasn't on the popular show yesterday, after revealing he had doubts about his future at the ITV programme.

Since Tuesday, he has been replaced in the studio by ex-politician Ed Balls.

On Wednesday morning, the TV legend was snapped strolling down Sauchiehall Street.

"It was definitely him," said one passer-by who sent us in the picture.

"He'd just bought a coffee and was wandering up Sauchiehall Street looking for something or someone.

"No sign of Judy.

"He was taller than I expected. Bet he gets that a lot."

It comes as he told Kate Thornton's White Wine Question Time podcast that his future at Good Morning Britain might be in doubt, The Sun reported.

He said: "In terms of what I do on my own, which at the moment is Good Morning Britain, although who knows how long that will go on for.

"I do it month to month at the moment and I'm very happy to.

"I quite like operating at that level. I've had my main career curve. I'm not seeking another huge career arch.

"We'll see what happens, but I enjoy it, I enjoy doing it."

Richard and Judy got together after meeting while working for Granada television in 1982.

They famously presented This Morning for 23 years until 2001, and then went on to host their chat show Richard & Judy for eight years.

While Richard’s career has continued with guest slots hosting Good Morning Britain, Judy has retired from the screens.
