COPS are hunting for a man who has been involved in three incidents of indecent exposure.

The man was walking along the canal path between the Lock 27 pub on Crow Road and Kelvindale train station on Clevenden Road on Friday, April 22.

He exposed himself to a 14-year-old girl at around 4pm, before doing the same to a 30-year-old woman around 15 minutes later.

At around 5.25pm he exposed himself to a 41-year-old woman.

It is understood that he did not approach or speak to the women, but they were left 'upset' after the incidents.

Officers are now investigating the incidents and are scouring local CCTV images.

Detective Constable Paul Houston of Pollok Police Station said: “The suspect did not approach the women or speak to them but they were upset as a result of these incidents.

“Officers have carried out enquiries and are studying CCTV footage from the local area to gather more information on the man responsible."

The force added that they were now increasing patrols in the area to reassure the public after the distressing incidents.

DC Houston said: "We fully appreciate that incidents of this nature can cause alarm within the local community, and while none of the victims have been approached by the suspect, they are still distressing to witness.

"As a result, we have stepped up patrols in the area to provide public reassurance while our investigation continues.”

The suspect is described as white, in his mid 20’s with brown hair.

He was wearing a black top with a white design on it with the words ‘I don’t care’ with the sleeves were rolled up to the elbows.

He was wearing dark-coloured trousers and black sandals.  He was wearing a baseball cap during one of the incidents.

DC Houston added: “If anyone was in the area around these times on Friday, April 22 and saw this man acting suspiciously, or has any information that will assist officers please contact 101 with reference 2866 of April 22.

"Alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
