AN INVESTIGATION has been launched into a report of an assault at a bus stop in Glasgow early this morning.

A woman was standing at a bus stop on Queen Margaret Drive in the Kelvinside area at around 8.50am on April 28 when the assault took place.

Reports on social media claimed that a man had struck her in the face.

Officers confirmed that they had received the report and were conducting enquiries into what happened.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received a report of a woman having been assaulted at a bus stop on Queen Margaret Drive in Glasgow around 8.50am on Thursday, April 28, 2022.

"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
