A MAN has been found dead at a major road running through Glasgow.
Cops and emergency crews rushed to the A81 in Strathblane, a village 11 miles north of the city, on Friday afternoon.
They were responding to an alarm raised for concern for a person.
The 64-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers have not established any suspicious circumstances and have sent a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.50pm on Friday, April 29, emergency services attended the A81 at Strathblane, following concern for a 64-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There were no suspicious circumstances and a report was sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
