FIRE crews raced to a city graveyard following reports of a blaze.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were alerted to grassfire at the Southern Necropolis at around 5.40pm yesterday afternoon.
One fire engine was sent to the Gorbals' graveyard and extinguished the fire.
It is not known if any damage was caused by the incident.
An SFRS spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 5.42pm on Monday, May 2 to reports of a grassfire at the Southern Necropolis, Caledonia Road, Glasgow.
"Operations control immediately mobilised a fire engine to the location and firefighters extinguished the fire.
"Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe."
