POLICE officers cordoned off an area in the city centre.
Police tape and officers can be seen on Gordon Street, just outside Central Station.
An eyewitness said: "They sealed off the smallest area outside the station.
"I wonder what happened.
"Must have been serious for two police officers to be standing guard."

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a disturbance on Gordon Street in Glasgow city centre around 4.35pm on Friday, May 6.
“Four males have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
