FOUR men have been arrested in connection with a disturbance in Glasgow's city centre.

Police officers have locked down an area on Gordon Street, just outside Central Station.

Two police officers can be seen, guarding the taped-off street.

Police Scotland has confirmed that they were alerted to a disturbance just after 4.30pm today on Gordon Street.

Four men were arrested and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

An eyewitness said: "They sealed off the smallest area outside the station.

"I wonder what happened.

"Must have been serious for two police officers to be standing guard."

A spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a disturbance on Gordon Street in Glasgow city centre around 4.35pm on Friday, May 6.

“Four males have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
