Popular Chinese restaurant in Glasgow confirms reopening - and they're hiring
A POPULAR Chinese restaurant in Glasgow has confirmed it will reopen soon.
Lotus Vegetarian Cuisine has been closed since January for refurbishment works and they had said they 'hoped' to open in March 2022.
But the Bridge Street restaurant has now confirmed that it will open later this month.
They posted on their Facebook page that they were hiring waiting staff, and a loyal customer asked: "Does that mean you'll be back open soon?"
They replied: "Yes we plan to open on Wednesday, May 25.
"Hope to see you there."
Lotus is the first fully vegan Chinese eatery in Glasgow and makes mock-meat versions of takeaway classics like ‘Beef’ in Black Bean Sauce to ‘Chicken’ Satay.
