A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital after a crash involving a van in Glasgow's southside.
Two police cars were seen parked at the crossing of Pollokshaws Road and Minard Road this afternoon.
Officers were standing guard at the scene where the road was locked down for almost an hour.
The woman was walking on Pollokshaws Road when she was injured in the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received a report of a road crash on Pollokshaws Road near Minard Road in Glasgow, involving a van and a female pedestrian, around 2.40pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
“The pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment and the road was re-opened around 3.30pm.”
