POLICE are hunting for a man they want to speak to in connection with an attempted robbery in Glasgow's Southside.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they believe can help with ongoing enquiries into the incident, which took place in the Kings Park area.

Police were alerted around 12.30pm on Monday, January 24, 2022, to the Scotmid store in Aikenhead Road, near the junction with Woodgreen Avenue.

They described the man as white, aged 25 to 30 years, around six feet tall, with a shaved head.

He was wearing a black, hooded puffy jacket with motif on the left arm, a blue top, denim jeans and black trainers with white soles.

He was also carrying a black Adidas rucksack.

Detective Constable Natalie Timothy said: “I would urge the man pictured to get in touch.

"Likewise, anyone with information relating to the incident is asked to contact us.”
