A SERIAL pervert was caught with 470 indecent images of children as young as two on his computer.

David McColm, 34, was snared with the pictures at his home in Glasgow's Riddrie on December 9, 2020.

Glasgow Sheriff Court heard officers obtained a warrant and attempted to search his home but only his partner was inside.

Officers travelled to McColm's place of work and brought him back where the search commenced.

A computer tower unit was seized which was examined by officers.

Prosecutor Jennifer McKee said: "Analysis found 470 images of child exploitation.

"None of these images were accessible without specialist equipment.

"The children are aged between two and 13-years-old."

The images were stored between December 2017 and December 2020.

McColm pleaded guilty to possession of indecent images of children.

Sheriff Martin Jackson QC said: "This is your second offence and I will grant you bail for reports.

"Be in no doubt what will be happening when you come back to court - these are serious matters - this is a re-offence."

Sentence was deferred until next month.
