A WOMAN was taken to hospital after being seriously assaulted in Bishopbriggs last night.
Police Scotland said officers were called to Oak Place around 7.40pm on Thursday, May 12, to a report of a serious assault.

A 41-year-old woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary as a result of the attack.
Meanwhile, a 43-year-old was arrested in connection with the incident.
