A SECOND Glasgow subway station has closed early today amid "operational issues".
The Twitter account for Glasgow subway travel is warning passengers of the early closure of Kinning Park Station.
It comes after West Street Station closed at 3pm for the same reason.
A tweet read: "Apologies all, West Street Station will be closed from 3pm for the remainder of the day due to operational issues.
"We apologise for the inconvenience. Nearest station is Shields Road."

"Operational issues" have forced SPT to close subway stations over the past few months.

A spokesperson had told the Glasgow Times: "Operational issues is the availability of staff to cover the Subway system.
"Our staff numbers have been adversely affected by a number of issues including staff turnover, the ongoing Covid pandemic and a high number of staff having to self-isolate often at short notice ie on the day or time of their shift beginning.
"This does mean we are often forced to make sudden changes to keep the majority of the system running.
"We are actively recruiting within Subway to help deal with the current staffing issues and have a number of new staff undergoing assessment at the moment."
