A MAN has been arrested and one man has fled following a crash on the M8.
Officers were called to the motorway's eastbound carriageway at Junction 15 at around 9.05am this morning following reports of a single car crash.
A 34-year-old man was arrested at the scene, while another man was seen to flee before cops arrived.
Police did not give a reason for the man's arrest but said an investigation is underway.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police in Glasgow were called to a crash involving a single car at junction 15 on the eastbound carriageway of the M8 at 9.05am on Saturday, May 14.
"One man was seen to flee before officers arrived.
"Another man, 34, was arrested at the scene and enquiries are ongoing."
