Five people have been injured after a fire in a block of flats in Glasgow.
Emergency crews rushed to the flats on Great Western Road, near Keal Avenue, just after 9pm last night.
Four engines and a height vehicle put out the fire which was on the 13th floor of the building.
The casualties were taken into the care of ambulance staff.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 9.12pm on Tuesday, May 17 to reports of a fire within a multi-storey block of flats on Great Western Road, Glasgow.
"Operations Control mobilised four appliances and a height vehicle to the scene, where crews worked to extinguish a fire affecting the 13th floor.
"Five casualties were handed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
"Firefighters left after making the area safe."
