AN AWARD-WINNING pizza takeaway is opening soon in East Kilbride.
Fireaway will open at 15 Maxwellton Avenue on May 23.
Founded by Mario Aleppo, Fireaway recently opened its 100th store and won the Rising Star Pizza Chain of the Year at the PAPA Awards in 2021.
Mario wanted to create an authentic experience for his customers and met with farmers in Naples who supply the takeaway with the choicest tomatoes.
He also has specially prepared flour delivered to his branches from Northern Italy.
With a choice of four bases, four kinds of cheese, four types of meat and 20 toppings, Fireaway also provides vegan and gluten-free options and a unique Nutella Pizza.
Mario said: “We like to innovate and have also introduced the full range of gluten-free and vegan options to ensure there is something for everyone.”
The new branches are open from 12pm to 11pm seven days a week and are partnered with Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.
