A major retailer has shut one of its city centre stores.
The Glasgow Times previously reported that independent jewellers Laings would soon be moving into the space occupied by Monsoon at 68/70 Buchanan Street.
This week, the 'boho-inspired' fashion and lifestyle brand shut its doors to customers on one of Glasgow's busiest streets for the last time.
A sign posted by a team member said: "The time has come to say goodbye.
"We would like to thank our customers past and present for their support over the years.
"Thank you again & keep shopping!
"Team Buchanan St"
Passersby spotted the shopfloor looking empty as boxes of excess stock were packed and mannequins were stacked in front of windows last night.

Monsoon customers will still be able to visit their Silverburn location and sister brand Accessorize in the Buchanan Galleries.
Family run Laings jewellers has signed a 15-year lease to take over B-listed building Rowan House as part of a £5million investment.

Stuart McDowell, managing director of Laings, previously said: "Last year, we announced our multi-layer expansion plan to transform our showrooms and workshops across the UK, reimagining the customer experience while ensuring traditional jewellers’ crafts are kept alive for generations to come.
"The centrepiece of this investment plan is our new flagship showroom in Glasgow, where we’ll be bringing Laings to the forefront while creating unique, immersive experiences for our clients.
"With negotiations to secure Rowan House now complete, and a 15-year lease agreed, we’re excited to be able to announce our plans to deliver a new retail format that captures the imagination of our clients and further enhance the luxury shopping experience in Glasgow."
