A CHIEF Detective has spoken out following the conviction of three men of the murder of Graham Williamson earlier today.
The officer spoke about the difficulties of the case and paid tribute to the victim's family in his brief comment.
Detective Chief Inspector Cameron Miller said: “We welcome the conviction of these three men today.
“This investigation has been long and complicated and our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Graham. I hope this conviction brings them some degree of comfort.”

A we reported earlier today, Derek Felvus, 25, James Baillie, 26, and Thomas Duris, 28, were convicted at the High Court in Glasgow of the murder of Graham Williamson.
The trio all face life sentences when they return to the High Court in Edinburgh on June 17.
Williamson was executed in broad daylight at his home in Blantyre on August 13, 2020.
