POLICE have launched an appeal to find a man who is possibly connected to a string of thefts in Dumbarton.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, a number of thefts and attempted thefts were reported from vehicles on Dumbuie Avenue and Crosslet Road.
Police Scotland has confirmed that a call was also received about a male within a garden shed in the same area.
An investigation was launched and officers are appealing to the public to locate a man who is possibly connected.

He is described as of dirty appearance, approximately 5 ft 10 ins, slim build, wearing grey cotton jogging bottoms, white jumper or jacket with a dark hood, wearing sunglasses.
Cops are asking anyone who witnessed any of the incidents or the man to contact them on 101 quoting incident numbers 504, 513 or 4015 of May 25.
