NEW images of a popular restaurant in Renfrewshire undergoing a multi-million-pound renovation have been released ahead of reopening.

Work is well underway at Farmhouse Inns Linwood to bring what bosses described as "a brand new family carvery experience" to locals.

Newly released images and video reveal the scale of the construction taking place at Linwood restaurant.

The site closed in April for a comprehensive renovation and is due to reopen on the June 27.

Owners said the investment will provide "all-new family features and exciting food and drink offerings".

As well as the classic Farmhouse carvery and home-baked signature cake selection, guests will be able to enjoy a new dessert parlour, including an ice cream station with an interactive toppings factory, a fresh doughnut machine and a brand-new milkshake offer.
