JUBILANT locals are celebrating the return of Govan Fair.

Yesterday, the much-loved event held its first full procession in two years after the Covid pandemic put the brakes on the tradition.

The centuries-old custom, held on the first Friday in June, has coincided with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The packed events list will continue through to Sunday.
