A GREGGS outlet store could soon be opening in Glasgow city centre.
A planning application has been submitted to Glasgow City Council by the popular bakery chain to occupy the space at 19 Saltmarket.
The empty unit, previously occupied by Ladbrokes bookmakers, would see the installation of two air conditioning condensers and one extract grille.

Greggs outlet stores sell second-day pastries, cakes and sandwiches at discounted prices, and there are already branches in Nitshill, Maryhill and the Forge.
Plans include drawings for how the new shop could look, which include a new sign which reads 'Greggs Outlet'.
Glasgow City Council is currently considering the plans, which can be viewed here.
