COPS have arrested two people at Glasgow Airport as part of an intelligence operation.
Officers swooped in on a 29-year-old man and 23-year-old woman yesterday after receiving a tip-off that they would be at the airport.
They have been arrested and charged in connection with serious and organised crimes.
The pair are due to appear in court today.
A police spokesperson said: “On Wednesday, June 8, 2022 officers, acting on intelligence, arrested a 29-year-old man, and a 23-year-old woman at Glasgow Airport in relation with serious and organised crime offences.
"They were both charged and are due to appear in Inverness Sheriff Court on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
Glasgow Airport does not comment on Police Scotland operations.
