A MAJOR road was closed this morning following the death of a man in Blantyre.
Officers were called to the town's Main Street at around 4.55am following a report of an unconscious person.
Emergency services responded and a 43-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
BBC Travel Scotland reported earlier today that Main Street was closed from the B758 Douglas Street to the A725 East Kilbride Expressway.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers received a report of an unconscious person near Main Street, Blantyre around 4.55am on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
"A 43-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
