A CCTV image has been released of a man police believe may be able to help their investigation into a serious assault in the city centre.
The incident occurred outside O'Neill's pub on Union Street at around 9.55pm on Friday, April 29.
A 34-year-old man was assaulted while standing outside the bar by an unknown male.
Officers are now appealing for help to trace the man pictured in the CCTV image.
Detective Constable Neil Bonsor of Greater Glasgow CID said: "As part of the investigation, we are eager to identify the man in the CCTV footage and would urge him, or anyone who recognises him, to get in touch with police."
The man is described as being white, with a slim build and in his late teens.
He was wearing white trainers, blue jogging bottoms, a grey hooded top with the hood up and a baseball cap underneath, and a small over-shoulder bag.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101, quoting incident number 4225 of April 29.
