An East End visiting farm has welcomed the addition of an adorable new family member this month.
The Baby Alpaca is only nine days old but has already proved a hit with visitors.
Farm supervisor, Hugh Boyle, said: "Mum gave birth while standing up eating grass in the paddock.
"The baby is a real character.
"She runs about like a wee racehorse and is quite confident. Paris is an excellent mum and the baby is growing fast.
"She's enjoying mum's milk and won't move on to a grass diet until she's four or five months old."
The baby lives at the farm with mum Paris, Dad Alaska and big brother Rodrigo who are all available to visit alongside other animals including pigs, goats, horses, ducks, and chickens.
Entry is free making it the perfect day out for animal lovers of all ages.
The Tollcross Children's Farm is located at the Wellshot Road entrance to Tollcross Park, beside Tollcross International Swimming Centre.
Opening hours are from 10 am to 3.30 pm Saturday to Thursday and from 10 am to 3 pm on Fridays.
