THOUSANDS of Ed Sheeran fans flooded Hampden Park last night to see the singer perform live - but they're not to only ones who got to enjoy the show.

Residents from as far away as Bishopbriggs, Garthamlock and Gartcosh reported being able to hear the singer-songwriter on the stadium's stage despite being up to nine miles away, and one person even said they could hear the concert 13 miles away.

Several people took to Twitter last night to share their confusion at being able to hear the gig all the way from Mount Florida.

One person wrote: "Surely can't be right to be able to hear a Hampden gig from Robroyston and Garthamlock??"

Another said: "Could hear a baseline last night (10.30pm) I put on a sleep story and forgot about it.

"This morning our local FB group were discussing it, apparently it was Ed Sheeran at Hampden??

"We live the other side of the city, is that possible?"

A third person added: "Not once heard the Hampden roar, but I can hear Ed Sheeran's concert there all the way from Bridgeton."

Another joked: "Are we hearing things, or can you hear the Ed Sheeran concert all the way in Bishopbriggs?

"Either that or someone is having a cracking garden party."

In response, people said they could hear Ed Sheeran in Springboig, Baillieston, Lenzie and Milngavie.

However, some people were not pleased to be able to hear the A-Team singer from their own homes.

One East End resident tweeted: "Being able to hear Ed Sheeran playing at Hampden from Easterhouse is surely classed as torture?"

Another said: "I can hear Ed Sheeran in Gartcosh... from Hampden.

"That's not good."

A third person wrote: "Am I tripping or can anyone else hear Ed Sheeran at Hampden?

"The people of Springburn don't want to hear this s****."

Ed Sheeran will perform at Hampden Park again this evening as part of his Mathematics world tour.
