A POLICE investigation is under way after a deliberate fire at a block of flats in Glasgow.
Firefighters rushed to the scene in Comelypark Street, in Glasgow's Gallowgate around 2.30am this morning.
Three engines were in attendance and only left the scene after 12pm, after dampening down and checking for temperatures to ensure the fire did not spread.
There are no reports of any injuries.
Now officers have launched a probe as they are treating the fire as deliberate.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.45am on Monday, 20 June, police were called to a report of a fire at a block of flats in Comelypark Street, Glasgow.
"Enquiries are ongoing and officers are currently treating the fire as wilful.
"Anyone with information that will assist the investigation should contact 101 quoting reference number 0303 of 20 June.”
